I began teaching K-8th Grade Art in Webster County in 2003, and then moved to Pre-K (Early Childhood) in 2004 before coming home to Sumter County in 2005.  I began working at Cherokee Elementary School teaching kindergarten for two years, second grade for 4 years and 1st grade for one year, and remained there until it's closing in 2012.  I am presently a second grade teacher at Sumter County Primary School, celebrating over 12 years in this profession!
