I grew up in a small suburban town in Ohio. After I graduated high school I lived for a year in Goppengen Germany, where I had the opportunity to travel all over Europe. I also attended my first year of college while I lived in Germany. I graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in Education. I substitute taught for a year in various types of schools in Ohio. I was excited to find employment with Sumter County Schools in 1992 and moved with my husband to Georgia. We both love living and teaching in the Sunny South.
