Letter from the Principal

Our Panther Cubs and teachers are hard at work in their academically challenging environments applying the skills needed to be successful as lifelong learners. I am excited to see how well the students will perform on the quickly approaching Criterion-Referenced Competency Test (CRCT). This is only one of the ways we assess our Panther Cubs. The most important part of this test is for our Panther Cubs to try their best as they show their growth. The test will be given April 1, 2, 3, 8 & 9. Leading up to these dates, you can help your child be successful by doing the following:

  • Schedule appointments AFTER school;
  • Avoid absences that are not related to illness;
  • Make sure your child arrives at school on time;
  • Make sure your child gets a good night's sleep the night before testing;
  • Encourage your child to eat a good breakfast each morning of testing; and
  • Advise your child not to worry about testing - just do his/her best.

As always, we are here to support and encourage our Panther Cubs to meet their potential!

For our Panther Cubs,

Lezley B. Anderson
